The Confidex Gen2 Ironside RFID tag is an advanced passive RFID solution that delivers reliable performance and exceptional durability (IP68) on metal surfaces. With the ability to be easily mounted on any metal surface using screws, rivets, or industrial adhesives, the Ironside tag addresses the challenges previously encountered with passive RFID tags when working on metal surfaces.

This tag can also be welded onto metal surfaces for a more secure attachment, making it suitable for harsh conditions such as immersion in water, tropical weather, and mechanical impacts. The Ironside is the first passive RFID tag to meet the aerospace standard AS5678 and has been successfully used for asset tracking applications such as steel pallets and railcars.
