RFID Chip for Access Control – TransCore AT5402

The TransCore AT5402 Access Control Tag is a semi-passive radio frequency (RF) tag designed for automatic vehicle identification (AVI) applications. Manufactured under the Amtech® brand by TransCore, it is compatible with TransCore® Encompass® multi-protocol reader systems. This tag is specifically engineered for interior mounting on non-metallic windshields, providing seamless integration and reliable performance across various environments.

Pre-programmed at the factory to meet customer specifications, the AT5402 tag can store up to 10 alphanumeric characters of customer data in a secure 60-bit ATA memory. When used with TransCore encryption readers, the tag employs advanced security techniques to ensure data authenticity while preventing tampering or unauthorized alterations. Furthermore, the risks of cloning, counterfeiting, or duplication are entirely eliminated.

The AT5402 tag also supports factory-programmed, locked data fields that cannot be reprogrammed, ensuring robust data integrity and security. This makes it an excellent choice for high-security access control, traffic management, and applications requiring exceptional reliability.
